Personality & Traits
General Overview | Alie, as she likes to be called, is a quiet tomboy type. She gets her tag from striking without warning enemy fighters like a snake would its prey. Basically easy-going and outspoken, but has a mouth like a snake. She hates being pushed into corners and can get physical when she comes out. Alie is a great pilot and loves to spend time in the simulators bettering her skills. |
Strengths & Weaknesses | Her strengths and weaknesses go hand in hand with her personality. She enjoys parties but she can drink too much at times. Being outspoken she will tell you about what you did wrong, however she can also be sharp tongued in her criticism. She is a determined individual and for the most part life is simple, yet her determination can and will land her in trouble if provoked. |
Ambitions | To eventually become the best of the best and make CAG. Get married and raise a family. |
Hobbies & Interests | Flying most anything is her pet hobby. Alie will spend time studying the technical specs of just about every fighter there is, old and new. She will spend time in the holodeck flying her air programs and surprisingly enough she does learn from the experiences. Her interests are reading, dancing, hiking, swimming and a good tennis match. |
Personal History | Alie grew up in a family dedicated to flying starships and fighters. Both her parents flew for Starfleet and as Alie was growing, she began to exhibit a love for flying fighters. She would play for hours at a time in a cockpit made from boxes and odds and ends. It wasn't long before Alie entered school and the desire to fly became truly evident. As she went through her basic schooling, her parents enrolled her in a flying academy so she could learn how to fly. Here she impressed her instructors so much that they urged her to take the Starfleet Academy flight school training. With both her parents and instructors urging her on, she jumped at the opportunity. Life in the Academy was hard but with the help of her new found friends she began to open up and join her friends in their games. Alie did get into an altercation with a group of cadets regarding who was the best dog fighter. It was arranged that she and the other cadet would perform an aerial dog fight and the winner would get the bragging rights. Alie did think twice and changed it to a simulation which was safer. She won by striking the other cadets fighter to first with the speed of a viper which earned her the call sign she is known by, “Viper”! Of course she got a formal reprimand but because it was done in the simulator and nothing was damaged other than the cadets ego, she got off lightly. The head commander of Red Squad was so impressed by her flying that he had her transferred into Red Squad. In spite of her reprimand he taught her skills that he did not ordinarily teach the others. At the Graduation ceremony he had her do the solo flight and it was outstanding. Graduating in the top 10% of her class she got the position of Flight leader on the USS Arlington. Serving there for 7 years she rose to the rank of Lieutenant. Quickly becoming the CAG, she was the lead pilot in everything. Serving with dedication, she was promoted to Lt. Cmdr. four years later. Now she is waiting for her transfer to the USS Claymore. When her transfer orders came in, she flew her fighter to the new ship. As CAG, she took over a fighter group that was very chaotic and unruly and turned them around in two months. Her group became known as the Hellcats of the Claymore. She served 9 years and achieved the rank of Lt. Cmdr. Soon Starfleet needed a good CAG officer on the USS Ganymede and was summarily transferred immediately. However, as fate would have it, Alie was re-routed to DS 3 to undertake her new position of CAG. It was decided that she was the best of the best in her career so Starfleet personnel sent her where she would do the job that needed to be done. |
