It has been two days now since we have begun to head towards the origin of the probe and, although I am getting enough sleep I am tired. I suppose it might be the fact that this is my first real mission as XO. So much is expected of me and yet, somehow I don’t care. Korial is here, I saw him reborn for the first time today. He stalks me down the corridors of the ship, just always out of sight that sense of evil inside him, inside me now. At night he comes to me, I cannot stop him. And always whispering his breath on my cheek and in my ear. “Kill them all my dear, Kill them ALL for me. Tonight he will come for me, climb into my bed and make me his. Then I may dream, what thoughts will inhabit my sleep and my waking moments I do not know. The very air of the Oberon is dark, dark as the deepest lake. Which way is up I ask myself, whom can I trust if I am unable to trust myself? Kill them all, kill them for me my Niali girl. I cannot wake, I cannot sleep help me, help me please?
