Mission start Day 0

Mission: EPISODE 1: SHAKEDOWN
Location: USS Oberon bridge
Timeline: Current.

Turning off the viewer trensu had a lot going through his mind as he walked over to the replicator. "Volcan green tea hot" he oerderd. the cup appeared in a swirl of light. Trensu had just gotten done talking to the task force commander who had just given them orders from Starfleet. He walked back over to his desk. he looked around the Ready room he had not yet decorated it to his taste. He had moved a few things into the room but not much. Trensu and the XO had been busy with the ship and crew getting everyone ready for the next mission. giving some time off to allow the adjustment of a new CO.

Trensu did not want to just rush into the next mission so the next morning will do he thought. turning trensu walked out of the Ready room onto the bridge. The duty officer announced "Captian on the bridge." That was something Trensu would have to get used to. He knew this was a great crew and there were few problems with them. trensu looked at all the officers on the bridge then at the Number Number 1 and gave a smile.

"Helm, how long is it to get to The Shackleton Expanse, Archanis Sector, Planet Vein II." requested the CO. The Ensign at the helm's hands moved across the console. "Two days Sir" she answered. Trensu turned to the bridge "We received orders we are to depart tomorrow morning." said Trensu with a smile.

Trensu's face changed to a more serious look and a little more authority but respect in his voice. "Number 1, recall all personnel, department heads brief at 0800, departure time 0900."

"Aye Sir" Finchley replied.

Trensu paused and looked at the officers on the bridge. "I will say this, we get to go meet the Akaru on behalf of the Federation. Let's get ready for departure. Also, Commander Kerr let me know when all the departments are ready." Said trensu with some pride.

"I'll contact you the moment all readiness for departure is confirmed Captain" Finchley replied.

"Commander Kerr when you have time I would like to see you" requested Trensu. He gave a nod to the bridge crew "carry on," he said as he walked back into the ready room.

"I'll be there momentarily Sir," Finchley said, watching the Captain retire to the Ready Room.

Opening up the ship's COMM system, he said "Commander Kerr to all personnel, return the Oberon and make ready for departure tomorrow 0900. All department heads, once you're all your personnel have returned, report your readiness to depart, Kerr out."
