Del dealt out the first round of hands. Left to right. As Del did this Cassi reached out to put a soothing hand on the XO's arm where she could reach. She smiled reassuringly. "It still creeps me out too, when I'm not expecting it." She said in low tones for only him to hear.

C'Rell glanced down at the small human female, second lieutenant Matthews. "Isn't he the same race as private Chue? Do they have the same abilities?" He asked in a low hiss of a whisper.

Yani threw two cards on the table and said in an almost bored drawl. "Hit me."

Del reached over and gave her a playful punch in the upper arm. He smiled Charmin ling and innocently at her as he did so.

"ha ha ha was funny the first thousand times too, Just give me my cards you punk." Yani returned with a playful tartness.

"Yeah, Only Kai is under direct orders not to use them unless its for training purposes or missions. So no worries." Cassi whispered back her voice masked by the other twos banter. Then she said loudly "I need two cards if your handing them out."

"You forgot to say please Cassi." The Zelarkian taunted as he took the rejected cards and swept them off to the side.

"Pleeeease, pretty please with sugar on top may I have my dang cards Major pain in my butt." Cassi retorted.

Del chuckled and delt her the cards. "How can I say no to that." He looked at the other two "How about you gents? Since I am passing them out so generously." He held the deck up as if to physically emphasize the question to the two giants at the table.

C'Rell looked down at his cards. He thought of what the major had told him. He selected two cards and set the other 3 on the table face down. "Three cards please Major."

Krang was thinking hard. His hand was not terrible, but it was not great either. He considered himself lucky that he was at the end of the turn, so he would have a few more moments before he had to decide what to do."

Del smiled, "Very nicely done. see that girls thats how to get XO." Del said with a chuckle as he delt out the three cards.

"He can keep XO who wants that kind of headache." Yanni teased picking up a potatoe chip and munching away.

"Not to mention the paperwork involved." Cassandra added as she shifted her cards around with a little smile.

Del looked to the chief of security. "How about you? Would you like some cards?"

He decided to switch out for two new cards. "I'll take just two."

out went to cards and del swept the discarded ones away.

"Hey you didnt make him say please." Yani protested in jest.

"Yeah well he isn't under my jurisdiction." Del responded with a easy laugh. He gave everyone a moment to order their cards as he took a drink from his coke and finally looked at his own hand. 2 of diamonds, 6 of clubs, 9 of clubs, 10 of hearts, and a Queen of clubs. He ditched the 2 and the 6. and drew his two cards. 3 of hearts, and a 9 of spades. A pair. Queen high if it came to it.

C'Rell looked at his hand, a 3 and 4 of hearts, 5 of diamonds and a 6 and 7 of spades. "I think I have what you call a straight." He said as he flipped his cards over
