Meeting Casually

Allan "Chopper" Langston was a hell of a strapping man and a wonderful pilot. He could fly the wings off any fighter on the station save one. That one was his boss, Alie Jackson call sign "Reaper". She could out fly him by a huge degree but when it came down to fighter fighting they were an awesome team. Both could fly the pants off the other pilots. It was scary sometimes to watch them fly together. If there was 6 inches between wing tips, it was alot.

Alie had scheduled some fighter flight time outside the station and Chopper was the one who drew her as a partner. Tapping her combadge, "Hey Chopper it's your turn to fly with me ya know" she said chuckling.

Allan's face suddenly changed when Alie commed him and told him that he was to fly with her. His face went white almost as if he had seen a ghost. "Seriously Reaper? Your kidding right?", he squawked.

"No Chopper, you drew me and now its time to pay the piper. You're mine buddy boy. Get yer ass into your fighter" Alie said chuckling. She headed for the flight deck and her fighter.

Allan didn't mind flying with Alie but against her…...that was tough. Alie was the better of the two and he knew it. She could out fly and out gun him in a dog fight. She had the better experience in that area because of her research and study of aerial fights, dog fights to be exact.

Entering the fighter bay, Alie got into her fighter and did her pre-flight checks, when she saw Chopper on the deck. "Hey Chopper, you look like you've seen a ghost! Come on son get yer ass in the cockpit and meet me by the outer marker" she said chuckling.

"Alie you're gonna kill me out there, I just know it. Have a little mercy this time please boss?" and Allan left the station heading for the outer marker.

Alie was dying laughing as she also took off and beat it to the outer marker. Arriving shortly, "Ok Chopper you know the drill, Move yer ass or I will shoot you out of the sky." she said and brought her bird to bear on Chopper.

Allan yawed left and barreled down Reaper's left in an attempt to rake her fighter. Alie turned right and flipped upside down and flew about 1 meter on top of his canopy and gave him the 'bird'. "Damn you Reap…..hold on…...Alie I got a bogey on sensors. Check it out….." he said.

Reaper flew rightside up just 6 inches off his left wing tip and looked at her sensor. "Whoa…..big sucka…..wait…..what the hell?" she croaked. "Chopper, this does not look good. Better let them know we got something…." she added…..
