Mission: The Forgotten Outpost
Location: DS3 Docking area
Timeline: Current

Kimpok left the transport shuttle and looked around. SB3 was certainly a busy place for a once abandoned station. His eyes took in his surrounds as he looked at certain security breaches. He listened as hushed conversations seemed to stop. At the sight of a Klingon dressed in Security grays.

This would be something he would have to get used to. Slowly looking around his eyes fell on a man. People were also go quiet when he appeared. The Klingon noticed the mans rank.

“Excuse sir. Lieutenant Kimpok reporting for duty.” He said handing Colonel Bishop a PaDD.

"Welcome Lieutenant. How was your flight?"

Kimpok watched the people around them as he spoke with Colonel.

“The journey was uneventful. This station is quite some distance away. It was a long journey. Colonel, I have noticed a troubling lack of security officers. Considering this is a main docking area.” Kimpok said.

"We are desperately under staffed at the moment, but hopefully that will be addressed soon."

The Klingon nodded in thought. This was a concern to him. DS3 was out on her own. A staff shortage meant that by the time they had enough grey tops. Crime could be rampant and out of control.

“Colonel once I have reported to my department head, We need to address this area immediately. This is a lone outpost we must show, that crime in all its forms will not be tolerated. Who do I report to sir?” Kimpok said

"That's going to be slightly problematic, as we currently don't have a chief." the Colonel answered. "I was hoping you would take the job, but was unable to contact you while you were in transit."

Kimpok had been alarmed to hear that there was no Chief of Security so far. He knew that it was very important to have Security working properly. In a situation like this. It wasn’t the prestige of being in charge of security.

Nor the fact that due to a birth defect. He was not as tall as other Klingons. Meaning he was unable to join the Klingon space fleet. Even though he had wanted to , more then anything. Kimpok’s father had refused to use his influence. To help his son get into the fleet. So Kimpok ran away from home. Eventually he had been accepted by Starfleet. Who did not care what size you were.

DS3 was at a tipping point. There was only one option.

“Colonel I wish to take over the position of Chief of Security please.” He said

"Excellent." Bishop said with a smile. "That's the first good news I've gotten all day." He paused for a moment and then ran his right hand back and forth over the short hair on his head.

"You can start by helping us find a missing crewman. He failed to report back from an inventory of the Duterium storage on deck 342."

Kimpok switched to security mode.

“Please give me the details of all Investigations so far. Have we been able to trace this missing crewmen’s com badge?”

"There no details as of yet, specifically because his commbadge went offline."

Kimpok nodded then he turned to the Colonel.

"Then I shall begin my investigation immediately. I will contact you once I have discovered what is going on in deck 342.” He told the Colonel.
