Gremlins?

Alie was going crazy with her pilots telling her that the hanger deck was some how weird. Trying to figure out justvwhatvthe hell was going on, she went to the XO's office to see if he could shed some light on the subject. Arriving quickly, she hit the door chime and waited.

Alvar had just gone over the most recent report to come in off of the strange Borg frequencies when the door chimed. "Come in," he called out.

"Thanks for seeing me. I'm getting reports from my pilots of some weird things going on down on the flight deck. Some say they are seeing things, others say they are hearing stuff, yet others find their things either missing or moved", Ali said worried. "What the hell is going on? We got ghosts or gremlins here now too!" she added, wiping the sweat from her head.

"We have been getting internal sensor scans of something on some of the lower decks that may be of Borg origin," Alvar replied. "Colonel Bishop is coordinating several teams to investigate further."

The word Borg did not sit well with her....."Borg! You've got to be kidding. I fought off several of their drones. Don't tell me we have some running around on the station? " Alie said worriedly. She had reason to be worried. Tampering with her fighters or her pilots was first on her mind. She did not trust them at all.

"I wish I was kidding,"Alvar replied. "So far, we're not too sure what we're dealing with as far as specifics, but it does go without saying that we're hoping to keep the situation as contained as possible."

"Mind if we like beef up the security in the fighter bays? I want to avoid my pilots sleeping in their fighters," Alie said with a serious face. Alie hated it when her pilots slept in their fighters, uncomfortable and small and the quality of sleep they got sucked.

"I'll see what I can do," Alvar said. "Since we're still assessing things, we...are not exactly spread thin, but it might not be a bad idea to have your people armed at the least until we know what we're up against."

"Great! I'll have them armed with phasers so they can at least defend their fighters and themselves. However they will not be trigger happy either. Thanks Commander Alvar for your time and your approval," Alie said getting up to leave.

"Thank you," Alvar said.
