Symbionts ‘R’ Us.

Personal log Lieutenant Commander Niali Korial.

I am again having problems with the Korial symbiont, something is wrong with either him or me. Our relationship should by a symbiotic one but every time I try to access and use his skills and memories he throws his memories of torture and interrogation into my mind. His character is so strong and his idea of helping me grow and mature is to try to turn me to his way of thinking. To this end I feel that the symbiont is wrong for me and I have been in touch with the symbiosis Commission on Trill. They were, of course decidedly upset at my request for a new symbiont. However they realise that this blending is not right for either of us. They will inform me when they find someone to take Korial and, if they can find me another symbiont then that is all for the better. I have not yet informed the Captain but will do so after our shore leave. I can only hope that we have no problems in the meantime.
