Settling in

Chief of Operations Personal Log: I have arrived at my new assignment, Deep Space Three. The station is a massive structure larger than most cities I have been too.

It appears that there is a lot of work that will need to done to truly get the station fully functional.

The main reactor is running at about 90% efficiency, the secondary reactor is at 75% and the backup reactor is off line.

The water treatment is not working properly and the loss is about 3% of the expected water return. Some energy will need to be diverted to replace the lost water.

The station is operating on a secondary communications array.

I have yet to determine the status of the shields and ancillary systems under my command.

It also appears that the departure of Lieutenant Micheal Stevens with elements of the operations staff has reduced the efficiency of the department. Over all, it appears that the station is running on a thin crew. Having support personnel assigned to increase the station's operational efficiency.
