“Begin Personal log Lieutenant Niali Korial.

Ansu is now invading my dreams.
It has happened three times now on consecutive nights. Following the intervention with Finchley He has been fairly quiet. I am currently waiting for a ‘neural blocker’ which is supposed to help block out some of his more violently suggestive thoughts. I hope this arrives before we get too far into the Shackleton expanse especially with my promotion to full Lieutenant and to the 2XO position which I am very excited about. I do gain insights I would not ordinarily have from him but meeting him has opened more questions for me than I had before. Why did I receive the Korial symbiont when I had decided I did not want to be joined. What were the circumstances that let to said transfer? I need to get to Trill but that is simply not possible currently. My dreams are disturbing and very real, it always begins with the deep space Freighter ‘Traders Hope’, I have never even seen her never mind served on her yet I am there as myself Niali, it is not one of Ansu’s memories although I cannot be sure that it is not one of his tricks. I am not a Counsellor however but her First Officer. The ship is emptyI do not know why but I know I am being hunted. Now the dream is breaking into my real day to day life. Whispers can fill my mind at any time. I have not mentioned this to Finchley, he is far too busy so I may have to visit the Doctor. I do know I am frightened to go to sleep.
