Mission: Jeepers Creepers 2: Creepers In Flight
Location: Ships Brig
Timeline: Current

On:

And without saying much, Svetlana turned to one of the Med Techs and said "How is SA DeCarlo doing? Well ma'am, he's fine but he's going to be in for a few weeks to see the Orthopedic Surgeon about his wrist, but from the looks of it, he should do well. and will be back to full duty status at the end of the month. As more and more senior officers came in, turning the brig into a convention, Svetlana left the group, knowing that within the hour, she would be getting a preliminary report of the incident, and would have to find out what actually happened, and why it started. But for now Agent DeCarlo was her main focus, and she would make sure that he received the best in medical care.

Finally being given a green light to return to duty, Angelica left the brig, as the local New outlet caught word of the fight, and soon another group of Starfleet Officers, were now in along with the others; all asking for stories or the truth that this was a planned bar brawl by the Klingons for some nefarious reason, and Ambassador Krod was the one who had instigated it...However with a lot of unsubstantiated and rumors filing the air it was going to be hard by now to discern the truth.

Starfleet Investigations Interview Room:

For the LTJG assigned to Security, he was in a most delicate predicament, having broken the rules, and now he was sitting sullen inside an empty investigations room; as his boss Lt. Trensu to come in and talked to him before he saw the Captain.

Walking in one of the Senior Chief security officers nodded to Trensu then looked at the young LTJG sitting in a chair in an office. Trensu gave a nod back to the senior chief. The Senior Chief just walk off to deal with others in the area and the aftermath of the brawl. As Trensu walked into the office the JG was going to stand he started to open his mouth But Trensu cut him off "Sit" he sternly ordered.

"What happened and why did you not follow protocols!" said Trensu firmly. The LTJG thought for a moment he knew there was no excuse for how he handled the fight. "Sir I acted before thinking it through" the officer said. "Through? did you think at all? Do you realize this is a diplomatic incident? involving the Ambassadors guard? Do you realize the position you just put me and the CO in? yelled Trensu.

The man just sat quietly "I apologize sir." the man said. "Apologize? it's not me you have to worry about. Ambassador Krod and the CO you have to worry about. What if Ambassador Krod wants to solve this in some Klingon way. I didn't think you will live through it." said Trensu. He paused "you're confined to quarters until this is investigated. Dismissed!

"The JG stood up, and was about to say something. Trensu cut him off. "I said get out now!" The LTJG just turned and walked out. Just after the LTJG left; the Senior Chief walked in "that was a bit harsh don't you think Lieutenant?"

Senior Chief asked. Trensu "he must learn what he did was wrong and the consequences of that decision Chief" said Trenus. Turning to face the chief. "AAaa... what the hell. I have better go see the CO and the Ambassador, Senior Chief" said Trensu walking out of the office.

For the Klingons, those who were stunned and except for the one lying in the ship's morgue, all were wondering what would become of them. Fighting and killing a human in a full-scale and authorized war was one thing, but going into a bar and starting a brawl, then killing an older human female, who was not even armed was considered a cowardly way of showing that they were a Klingon warrior.

Apparently, they didn't have to wait long for the sounds of the heavy boots of a Klingon could be heard and from the commotion, it was the Klingon Ambassador "Krod" who was now fit to be tied, came in and sat down in front of the Klingons.

Krod was breathing heavily, suppressing the anger he felt that so many of his guards would dishonor themselves so.

'Speak - explain to me why I shouldn't have Starfleet launch you out an airlock?'

A Bit smug and full of himself, the first Klingon who was the equivalent of a Senior Lieutenant, spoke up. Ambassador, the Federation will never harm us so launching us out of an airlock into deep space for being in a bar brawl and accidentally killing the puny wife of some retired Fleet Admiral.. "Ha" I laugh at your insuinnations Ambassador, for the Federation will never harm a prisoner, nor will they employ a paid assassin to kill their prisoners, unlike us who usually employ Assassins it would be sad for me not to see my spirit go into the after life, replied the challanging Lt.

You forget Ambassador, that as a member of the Ambassadoral Bodyguards, I have sworn my life to the Empire, not you Ambassador, so go and kill me; I dare you to. Plus you know as well as I do that we have all pledged our lives to serving the Empire, and if that means we accidentally kill the wife of a worthless, Starfleet Admiral, then so be it. So go ahead and scare one of the junior officers who guard you, tell them why you should not have Starfleet launch them out of an airlock...

Now smiling at the Ambassador who was now fit to be tied, the Ambassador knew that he was correct in his assumptions, and now it would be Krod who would have to suffer the indignities of having to save face.
But the Klingon also knew that when dealing with Krod; one had to be careful if they were to live, but then Ambassadors were what the Earthlings called a "dime a dozen".

For Svetlana, she was now looking at a possible diplomatic incident, but decided to work on the issues of the fight in the bar, she already had an idea on what she needed to do.
a. Talk to the people inside the bar,
b. Talk to the Admiral who just lost his wife of 75 years, which would not be easy; since he was supposed to leave for Risa.
c. Talk to the Klingons, hoping that Krod didnt' have these folks disposed of already,
d. Talk to her two agent, especially Agent DeCarlo, and Garca to get their side of the story,
e. Next find out "WHO" issued the order to kill the Humans, if it was the Klingons, then either ask the Klingon Ambassador nicely if he could pussy-foot with the Klingons Security personnel, or go in 'balls to the walls' and grill them herself.
f. Next find out from DeCarlo what happened along with Garcia on what had transpired in the bar,
g. Finally talk to the LTJG who simply failed to take into account that he'd need at least two full squads of heavily armed Security Officers, and did not follow orders, if found guilty, he'd be facing a Captains Mast, or a Special Courts Martials, but for now he was the low man on the totem pole.
h. And finally talk to Trensu, and Commander Bishop along with Krod.

Looking at the ships chronometer, it was going to be a very long morning as Starfleet Security, Investigations and CSIS along with the Ambassadors own Investigators, and Starfleet's own Ambassadorial personnel gathered to determine who was at fault, and how to deescalate the now brewing and simmering political issues on the Station.

As Svetlana finally found a coffeepot, she said to one of the LIeutenant... "Make sure that this pot is off limits to all except me... 'I'm going to need a lot of coffee for this incident" replied Svetlana to a surprised LTJG, who only said... 'YES Ma'am".

He walks by Svetlana Trensu looks around the room. Then places a Padd at the end of the desk. This is the primary report from my Officers. They have been told that they are to follow your instructions and if they have any questions to ask you." said Trensu. He shook his head "what a mess. I should go to see Krod if he is around." He said sounding tired.

Thank you Lt. I'll try to get the information in my final report to Starfleet Intelligence, I know losing two of your own people is hard, then as she was about to say something else, Svetlana just sighed and returned back to her coffee pot, as she watched the tired CSTO having to explain the actions of a LTJG to the Commander and everyone on the ship, and even the retired Admiral who was now fit to be tied...

Trensu let out a sigh stopping at the door "It is hard when you lose people under your command. It is worse when it is something like this it's a dumb reason to lose people. The ceremony is in a week you and your subordinates are welcome to come, its duty uniform." Trensu said sadly.

Rather than say something, Svetlana just kept quiet as she worked on getting the coffeepot to work...
