Mission: EPISODE 1: SHAKEDOWN
Location: USS Lancaster (Sick bay)
Timeline: Day 0 Through early day 3

On:

Jason woke in sick bay aboard the USS Lancaster, Dr Davidson had told Jason he had a level 2 concussion along with some minor flash burns and two broken fingers. It was when star fleet security started the debrief that mystery began, Jason couldn't recall all of the events of his escape from the station, what made things worse was he couldn't recall events of any kind.

After four irritating hours and an additional medical evaluation Jason was dismissed by security, his memory loss was partially blamed on the concussion. Jason spent the following weeks doing rehab and speaking with councilors with limited success, his hands had healed and the burns were mostly gone.

During the following days Jason had learned that he was found furthest from the station. The mystery kept getting deeper as he saw a few reports of other crew who had been found in the following days and weeks, same situation, memory loss, other injuries. The reports were more and more confusing as the days turned into weeks.

Finally orders arrived, Meet up with USS Oberon at Betazed for his next assignment. The two day trip was almost uneventful, he'd spoken too intelligence they had few answers on the events surrounding the events involving Deep space three. Jason arrived at the Starfleet outpost on Betazed. Every report was laden with the words inconclusive.

Multiple pages of reports about crew recoveries, with conflicting commentary of what happened, incomplete sensor logs, even incomplete accounts of events, Jason sat back in his chair as the automated shuttle pod glided it's way too the dock where the Oberon was staged he put the pad back into his briefcase and stood up after the clunk of the airlock engaging followed by the hiss of the doors opening.

Jason looked around a lone operations officer stood at the console, he just waved him though. Jason was puzzled but kept walking.

The corridors were busy with supply carts, repair teams, medical and science teams carrying equipment. Jason felt like the odd man out, there was a computer terminal not being used by anyone he keyed in a few commands, located his quarters and a few other key essentials.

After a few short minutes Jason walked into what were his assigned quarters setting down his case, he really wasn't big on personal items since he had only been on a limited number of assignments he always traveled light, he sat down at the small desk and looked over the few notes he had, he leaned back in the chair, his head was starting too throb again. He wanted too speak too the doctor soon as there was time but the computer chimed in "All present senior staff report too the briefing room.

"No rest for the wicked." Jason muttered. As he stood he felt a small rush followed by the dizziness he'd been plagued by for the last few days. He reached for the small hypo they had given him for situations like this, it wasn't in any way a relief but it made things manageable until he could get time too rest.

After he steadied himself he left his quarters, pad in one hand, coffee in the other. 'Lets go!' Jason thought too himself.

End
