Yani poked Rhys in the side and smirked as he shot a scathing glance her way in return.

"Your still mad eh?" Yani said to his silent form as they stepped off the lift and into the halls. "Your the youngest in the team you might as well get use to it. It's ment in good fun and in our defense we didnt know you were allergic to shaving cream." Yani said in her usual carefree manner. "I use to get it too when I was a Privet. It just means we like you enough to put the effort into messing with you is all."

"Yani you all shoved me naked into the Majors locker and covered me in shaving cream that made every part of me swell up like a balloon and I mean EVERY part some more uncomfortably then others so if you dont mind me saying so I think Id like it better if you all liked me a little less." Rhys huffed. "Do you know how humiliating it is to have to come and get a work up appointment done with that as my last enrty?" He asked her.

"Actually I once had to explain to the doctor on the Cutter how I managed to get both my hands superglued to a training dummies behind so I feel your pain." Yani said with a chuckle. She could laugh about it now. Now. back then she had nearly shot Thomas over that lil stunt of his. "Can we make peace now? You need me to protect you from stranger danger."

Rhys let out what seemed to be a mixture of a growl and a frustrated sigh and walked faster leaving behind Yanis soft laughter. "Im not a kid." He muttered to him self with malice careful so as Yani wouldn't over hear him. He entered medical and handed over his chart to the nurse on hand.

Della took the PADD, medical chart and prepped the bio bed.

Contessa walked out of the LAB. and said her customary greeting to the new arrivals.

"I am Doctor McQueen, how are you today?" She ask as she observed and read the chart.

Contessa observed the patient, listening intently... Whilst Della the Nurse Practioner continued to place sterile examination equipment on the tray in front of the CMO.

Rhys not wanting to let Yani have time to skip in and terrorize him more. "Yeah... Umm just a check up and I umm need to have a few things checked out. I had an allergy too.. well I need to make sure its not getting infected." he finished quickly his cheeks turning red. There were patches of skin on the back of his knees and under his arms and a few around his neck that still kept flaring up and he'd itch them so badly even with the stupid cream. Hed scratched sores into his skin that didnt want to heal right and kept trying to get infected. The Major had even made him wear big thick gloves for a week to try and get him to stop. But desperate he had simply moved on to using other objects to itch with. It felt like bugs crawling under his skin and he hated it and couldn't ignore it and just thinking about it now made his hands cletch to not start in on the area around his neck again.

"Allergy?" She checked the medical scans... "Have you been exposed to any strange encounters since your arrival here at DS3, or whilst you were working here?"

"No not while here. its just a mild skin irritant. During a private training encounter with some friends of mine, well I was covered in shaving cream and well shaved before being put into a personal locker, with out clothes on..." The young mans face had turned pink now. "Well, turns out I am allergic to shaving cream.". ((think super troopers))

"I see, shaving cream is now added to your list of allergy for your medical file. You know we have a shave cream alternative that most patients find applicable for the daily shave." She noted the allergy and the nurse brought the anti allergy meds. After a round of hypo sprays and a RX for emergency allergic problems.... she remarked. "Your skin will be tender in the areas where we regenerated the tissue, if you have further problems please make an appointment with Della and return. I am giving you this anti allergy medi first aid kit in case you sustain an allergic reaction while away missions or during duty station, please note that this kit is for first aid applications and you will need to get to Sickbay as soon as you can."

"Yes ma'am. Thank you ma'am." Rhys had a feeling he might end up needing it sooner then he'd like to.

Yani had finally composed herself to check in as well. She had to get her foot checked out. Cassandra had had to reattach it during the last mission. Though it pained her ever so often like a crap or a aching bruised feeling, Yani had no complaints. Pain let you know you where alive,

She handed her chart to the nurse and settled in on the bio bed they directed her too. The Major was getting waaay to over protective. a secondary follow up from yet anther doctor? What was he so worried about? Then again she knew what it was. He had lost almost all his troops in the last mission. Even his best friend Zymbus their beloved XO. They had been sent to die, No murdered by bureaucrats who instead of bartering for peace had tipped the scales into a devastating confrontation. Yani looked at the scar that wrapped around her calve like a twisted pink tribal banned in a way if it had been inked by some demented artist. It was healing though. She had gotten off easier then most the others. Hell Rhys over there. Her eyes darted to where she could hear him moving around. He was the only cadet from the training crew to have survived and that's why Del had brought him here. The fatherly behavior was touching.. But Yani was beginning to feel a little smoothered by it. She was a marine damn it not a toddler to be coddled and worried after. Or maybe she was just cranky because she missed her husband and daughter. She let out a sigh and waited for her turn with the doctor.

Della arrived and said, "bio-bed four Yani." The Nurse motioned to the bed. McQueen looked over the chart and ordered scans.

While she completed Rhys treatment.

Looking at Yani she ask. "How are feeling?"

"I have no complaints. Leg is coming along fine. See" She dangled the appendage out a little showing off the nearly healed wounds. Some places had been a little more stubborn then others. But then it had been detached at one point so Yani had not been seeking perfection when she had begged Cassi to fix it. To not let her die. She flinched as she remembered the desperation in her own voice even in her memory. She couldn't believe she was still alive. She was happy for it though. Beyond grateful. And thats How Cassi had talked her into all these follow ups.

"I can wiggle my toes, rotate my ankle, there is still a little numbness at times in the bottom in the arch of my foot and near the achelies area it gets a little achy but nothing unmanageable." She finished. "The bullet holes are pretty much gone and the stab wound has acted up in over a week so I think we could write it off. Its just a scar for the most part anyways."

"Yes, the scans show the medical records and your current state as you described it , layman's terms that is. I am conducting deep regen on your injuries it will heal soft tissues and bone inside and outside. This will lesson the morning stiffness and give you back more range of motion. You will be sore for 24 hours as the the regen process finishes up the healing but then you will find much more improvement in your bodies ability to move without pain or stiffened due to scars, current wounds etc."

She completed the process and said. 'You are free to go. Please return if you experience worsening symptomatic pain or rwaction."

"Thank you doctor." Yani said getting off the bed. She was happy it was over already. She was not a fan of doctors. "Common Private. Let blow this popsicle stand." she said as she saw Rhys waiting in the front trying with little luck to flirt with some of the busy nurses.

Rhys shrugged and followed Yani out with a smile and a wave, before he disappeared into the hall.

She nodded and also said to Rhys as well. "If you have any complications, please return to Sickbay. Have a great day."

The CMO turned to the next patient on the biobed...
