Del was pretty sure he could catch Thomas alone now. Time was essential. With the Colonels aide he had been able to push the transfer through. Now to collect his man before something came up to prevent him from coming. He slid into his chair giving it a little spin before he hit the redial on the Comm. It began its little CHirp chirps as Martha called them. It would be nice to see the kid again. Yes this was a good thing.

Thomas's face appeared a few minutes later as the comms screen flashed to life with a chirp. His face was red and he had sweat beading his brow. "Did she have another episode already Major? I thought her seeing Martha would help for a day or two." He took a seat to reveal he was in his PT gear.

'No,, no with any luck she's doing her PT right now like you were. Kai says that Yani did sleep a little about three or even four hours. But I am calling to tell you to drop what your doing and pack up only what you need for you and your daughter. I will hire some one to bring the rest of your things later. With the help of the colonel I was able to have you transferred to this base. I know its going to cost you. But its been two years. For once I am in a position to fix this. Your wife needs you and I could use a man that's good at finding things. Kai keeps running off into the damn engineering section at every hour." He ran a hand over his weary face. "I already made arrangements for family housing and have Kai looking into childcare and preschool options. "Please Thomas I need you here."

Thomas looked around him before he leaned in to whisper, "Good! The command here are lazy and regulate most jobs to lowered ranks. Heck, they didn't PT regularly here until I arrived and I'm just now getting them back into shape. I'll gladly take anything to be anywhere other than here." He leaned back and continued in his normal to be. "First shuttle I can take will depart in 4 hours and is a 3 day trip. So...." He leaned forward to tap on his console. "We will see you in about 4 days time and I'll just have everything recycled but certain items that can come with us."

Del smiled. it was not a happy smile. Just a fond one as he looked at his friend. They had known each other in boot camp, had served on the same team up until two years ago. Del had been best man at his and Yani's wedding, had even been there when Martha was born. He owed the Colonel a lot for restoring his family to him, for helping in what was otherwise a FUBAR situation. "Just be on that shuttle. I don't care what happens, you just come. No questions. I'll have everything ready for you the minute you get here."

Thomas nodded and smiled. He got up and leaned down to look into the screen. "Aye Sir, see you in four days. Thomas Zang, out." The screen goes dark.

Del stared at the screen. Then the lights dimmed and the running lights strobed red.

"Lieutenant Darkmoon and Major DarkShadow, your teams are needed on the double in the shuttle bay and transporter rooms. We have evacuees and possible intruders."

"Aye sir activating A-6. We are on our way." Del said already up and moving as he entered the code into the computer just as Kurag sent his summons to the Shuttle bay. He forwarded it to C'Rell whos team was on security in that section.

"I'll be with my team Colonel." C'Rell said as he turned smartly and headed to join the Marines in the shuttlebay.

Around the station the badges of the Marines bleeped out a code to arm up and report to battle stations. Those already out with security where already armed and in armor as was the custom regulations. They moved along with the security detail to be placed where needed to help best secure the station. Those in training filed out to the lockers like a moving ant hill they organized and set about the task of getting to their battle stations as quickly as possible. Those who caught a look at the Major could tell this was not a drill. He moved with a purpose. Kai falling in at his side she handed him his armor and he put it on as they moved. She gave him his bandoleer of daggers, and he slipped it on then his side arm, then his sword. He carried that in its sheath over his shoulder.

They arrived at the shuttle bay and fanned out to cover all entry and exit points.
