Now There's Two?!

Mission: Jeepers Creepers!
Location: Ready Room
Timeline: Current

Tobias received a notice that the new security officer had arrived. He tapped his commbage and said, "Lieutenants Kimpok and pek`Mirgh, please report to the ready room." Then he sat back and waited.

Kimpok left Operations and went back to Security. Once there he ordered his teams to set up guard posts. On decks 341 and 343 with orders to monitor only.

“Be on the alert for any sounds or smells. Do not engage, Without either calling myself or the Colonel. Do not allow anyone near deck 342.” He did not wait for any questions to be asked. Kimpok had made himself plain. Why should he repeat himself.

But this situation needled him. An unknown enemy had made him withdraw. Without even showing it’s face. Kimpok really hoped to come face to face with , whatever it was. No one makes Kimpok of Deep Space Three back away!

"Lieutenants Kimpok and pek`Mirgh, please report to the ready room." Came Colonel Bishops voice.

Lieutenant pek`Mirgh that’s a Klingon female name..... He thought

Kimpok limped over to the Colonels Ready room. Standing outside he pressed to door chime. Awaiting to be aloud in.

"Come in." came the Colonel's response.

Kimpok limped into the Colonels Ready room. He was just about to speak to Bishop. When the doors opened again and a Klingon female entered.

K'ed was on her way to see the Colonel's office, she tapped her commbadge. "Colonel I'm not too far from your office sir, I'm on my way." K'ed said as she hurried herself to his office.

Once they were both there, Tobias said "I wanted the two of you to have a chance to meet, since things are getting strange around here and K'ed is going to have to dive into the deep end feet first."

K'ed was in the office, "Qapla to you 2 I'm the new Assist Security officer Ltjg K'edroha pek'Mirgh-Robinson." K'ed said with a klingon smile.

He kept his face expressionless as she greeted them. But nodded politely at her. On one hand it would be good to have some help in security. Especially with this unknown threat. The only problem was would she accept him. As a head of Security even with his personal history?

"I know you two probably have a lot to talk about, on many levels, but we don't have time for that right now." Tobias began. "Lieutenant, we are currently dealing with an unknown invasive intruder. We are missing crewmembers, and to make matters worse, we're picking up what could be traces of Borg technology." He paused to give her a moment for the revelations to sink in.

"Leave your gear with me, grab a weapon, and join Lieutenant Kimpok and the rest of his team on the search for our 'visitors'." he let his anger and frustration drip from the last word.

"I know this is not what you expected when you signed up for Stabase duty, but we're discovering that out here, what we expected gets left far behind us."

"Dismissed."
