Mission: The Forgotten Outpost
Location: Transport Shuttle the Reagan
Timeline: Following Coming aboard

Saus'Kai sat across from the large, yellow, orange and black furred Kzinti with little tuffs of fluff on their bat like tips. He had a cute lil tail too it reminded her of her buddy Zymbus. She just wanted to hug him and squish him to pieces. She sighed. No Zymbus was dead sadly. One of the many casualties to have happened during the last mission. She smiled at him as she sat the PADD down. "I think your up to speed then. I am glad you took the time to read everything upfront." He was so big Kai standing only reached his chest and barely. Even sitting like they were at the table going over the reports for star base 3 she still had to look up to see his face. She sat back and took a deep sip from her coffee cup. She let out a soft 'Mmmmmm' As she let the flavor dance over her tongue like a symphony of tastes. "So now that we have work out of the way why not tell me about yourself." Kai urged

"Not much to tell. I'm Kzin. I like fighting and eating." C'Rell said. "I've been Federation for around 10 years and have been stationed mostly near the Xindi border until I took this position. I hated that rock we were on. Not enough fresh meat." His ears turned back against his skull in disgust at the thoughts of eating plants.

"Then I suggest we have steak for dinner." Kai chuckled in her musical way and then her eyes still full of that laughter she said. "So you like to fight then. We should have a practice fight once we get to the station. I bet you could rip me in half if I let you catch me." Her smile was excited as if that was not a horrific prospect.

"Aye, I probably could. Most Kzinti have a genetically altered gene that increases their physical attributes. I am also very quick and agile like your terrain felines." C'Rell said with a toothy grin that showed very pointy and sharp looking teeth, the upper canine teeth being almost an inch and a half long. "Do we get to eat it raw?" He asked hoping she would have real meat and not replicated meat. They just didn't taste the same to him.

"You can eat it however you like. I am big on rare as well. I am a Zelarkian. So I don't know much about their Felines except that they are cute furry and sassy while the bigger ones tend to be lethal." She pouted a little remembering how Delhashi wouldn't let her pet the tigers at the zoo program. The safety had been on. Oh well let it go Kai. let it go. She looked back up at C'Rell. "Apparently big cats and Kzinti do not like to be petted or mauled by purple haired aliens." She said wistfully.

C'Rell let out a chuffing laugh. "No, we do not like to be petted as the humans call it. We are a proud race that are devoted to our honor and our gods who have deemed us to be their chosen heroes." He explained. "One human at the Academy thought it would be funny to try and pet my tail. He learned the hard way not to touch when not invited." He raised a hand and claws popped out of the finger tips to emphasize his point.

"Well I would think so. How rude of them. I mean that's just like if some one came up and tried to grab my Chatla...er Bum and get away with it. I am glad you taught them differently." Still she was a little disappointed. He was probably not a Cuddler then like Zymbus had been. too bad.

"I received some special duties after that incident. They even made me file my claws while I was at the Academy." C'Rell said with a small shake of his head. "It's hard being the only one of my kind there but they learned I couldn't be pushed around. By my fourth year, everyone wanted to hang out with the scary Kzinti." A rumbling growl rose from his broad chest.

"It was hard for my friend Zymbus as well. He use to have this human kid keep trying to challenge him and one day... well.. yeah. I am sorry they where unkind to you.. I tried to make friends but because I am poisonous to so many of them they mostly avoided me." Kai explained as she sat back and slumped a little.

C'Rell raised an eyebrow, his whiskers twitched slightly at that news. "Your poisonous?" His tail swished behind him.

Kai looked up at him and nodded. "Its okay not to Ktzinti. My friend Zymbus he saved my life.. and he didnt know at the time he did but... I had stopped breathing. A electrical discharge had stopped my heart and he knew I was poisionus but he.. well he gave me CPR and was able to keep me alive long enough for the medic to arrive and restart my heart. He uumm he could have died doing that.. He knew I was leathal and well. He was a very good friend..I think you might have liked him."

"Zymbus was Kzin too? He earned great honor." C'Rell asked as his body relaxed at the knowledge that he was immune to her poison.

"Yeah, unfortunately the only ones two know of it are you me and the medic. He was killed shortly after that blocking the medic from an incendiary bomb it blew shrapnel right through him and then he burned. "Kai's voice had grown thick and she cleared her throat and held the deadly tears in check. Habit. She couldnt risk crying and some one touching the tears. "So thats never going to earn him his second name... He had tried so hard... he really deserved one.. But the medic died, sniper shot her in the head while trying to board the transport... SO just me and you now I guess.." She smirked up at him then. "sucks yeah?"
