The USS Oberon, commissioned on January 2395, is a Luna-class explorer designed to operate beyond the furthest reaches of Federation space. Her crew, the remaining survivors of The Disappearance, Starfleet’s single greatest tragedy since the Dominion War, are hardened survivors of the tough frontiers of space.
Now reunited, they boldly set out to explore strange new worlds and unravel the mystery of starbase Deep Space Three’s disappearance in a Quadrant rapidly disintegrating around them.
The USS Oberon stands ready to mount tactical, scientific operations within enemy or neutral territory to oversee the safety of the Federation. The USS Oberon continued its mission although fragile borders they bring stability to the Shackleton Expanse. The USS Oberon will be out to face the unknown. Join The USS Oberon as it undertakes a variety of tasks along the border including patrol, investigation, defense, rescue, scientific exploration, and protecting the Federation and her crew, this basin of hope is all that stands between success and failure.
MISSION: Starfleet has placed The USS Oberon With with Task force 11. The USS Oberon takes up the gauntlet of its predecessors to protect the safety of the Federation and Delta Quadrant. The USS Oberon has been assigned an outstanding crew to work out the base rules in a new era where the law is no longer for granted.
